The Prof. Dr. Vasile Bogdan Collection contains nine original documents donated by Prof. Dr. Vasile Bogdan of Babeș-Bolyai University. The documents recount the Holocaust experience from the perspective of survivors Alexandru (Sándor) and Elisabeta Goldenberg, the parents of Prof. Dr. Vasile Bogdan. The collection presents documents attesting to issues ranging from their deportation to the Nazi camps at Gutowo and Dachau, their liberation by the Allied Forces, and their return home, where they have rebuilt their lives despite the physical and psychological traumas of the Holocaust.
