This collection comprises 13 books, primarily published in Transylvania during the interwar period and World War II. The majority of the books are works published by Hungarian-speaking Jewish writers whose activity bears witness to their participation in a flourishing cultural life in the major Transylvanian cities. Of particular note are the works of László Salamon (1891–1983) and József Gréda (1911–2000) – authors who lived through the Nazi camps of Dachau and Auschwitz.
