The arrangement of exhibits inside the Botanical Museum, preserved either by using the dry method (through pressing, tridimensional, or by means of moulds) or the wet method (in various preserving liquids) was performed according to the following criteria: systematic, ecological, and economic.
The presentation of the vegetal world in the Museum is completed by the revolving panels and pictures displaying phytosociological and nature preservation aspects: vegetation regions and levels in Romania, the main botanical reservations in the country and the plants they shelter, endemic and protected plants of Romania.
There are also exposed pictures representing phytogeographical aspects, with vegetation formations of the world, like the Mediterranean xerophilous bushwood (scrub, tomillares, frigana, garriga, machia), pictures with European, Asian, or American coniferae.
