The Museum of University History
The Museum of University History was founded in April 2001 on the initiative of the Rector's Office of the Babeş-Bolyai University, for the purpose of adding value to the outstanding rich history of the Cluj university teaching system throughout the centuries, to the activity of the professors and students, who have frequented the various academic structures, but especially to the outstanding contributions of Transylvanian intellectuals to the heritage of world culture and science. The Museum of University History offers every student and especially every future student of the BBU a synthetic and transdisciplinary perspective on the tradition and the present of the Cluj university life, in the multicultural context of Transylvania. It deserves to be visited by all those, who are spending or have spent their student years in Cluj.
