Paleontology-Stratigraphy Museum / General Stratigraphy Collection

The General Stratigraphy Collection contains several collections of fossils of stratigraphic importance and rocks originating from Romania and Europe, exposed according to the chronostratigraphic succession (from Cambrian to Pleistocene). The general stratigraphy collection from Europe encloses the collection of tertiary molluscs from France (Parisian Basin), Northern Italy (Piemont-Liguria Basin), Austria (Vienna Basin), and Hungary (Middle Danube Basin).
