This collection comprises a series of documents that offer a fascinating insight into the historian’s work, as well as a glimpse into the world he lived in. Whether they are documents that reconstruct the intellectual universe of historian David Prodan (flashcards, interpretations, source analyses, book, course, or conference preparations, etc.) or correspondence with prestigious intellectuals (Keith Hitchins, Max Demeter Peyfuss, Ion Breazu, Alexandru Zub, Ana Blandiana, I. D. Sârbu, etc.), the collection is emblematic of the work of historian David Prodan, but also of the intellectual solidarity that developed against the background of a restrictive political regime.
